Kindred Spirits
Craft Mall is a family owned and operated business.
Jennifer
Robertson and Linda Scott are the proprietors. Both Ohio
natives, they have been decorating and making crafts for
years.
Jennifer was the
first to lease a space (2'x3') at a small craft mall in Ohio
for her hand made crafts. She then expanded to other craft
malls in the area. In 2003, because business had prospered and
grown to an unmanageable level, Jennifer asked Linda to become
her partner. While both were still working full time jobs,
they invested in a 10x12 foot trailer and went on the road to
out of town shows on weekends and really expanded their
territory, inventory and customer base. Jennifer's dream was
always to have a store of her own. Kindred Spirit Craft Mall
was born as a result of ingenuity, hard work, determination
and business research.
Supported by
their husbands, Tim (Jennifer) and Ron (Linda) the store has
become a reality and opened on July 30th, 2006.
Jennifer and Linda
bring to their new business a combination of 45 years of
professional business and accounting skills and both have
years of experience working in supervisory roles. They both
have a keen eye for decorating and merchandising which has
made their craft business a successful one.
